The Faculty of Biosciences to inaugurate the academic year with a conference on Joan Oró

The Faculty of Biosciences will inaugurate the 2023/24 academic year with a conference that commemorates the Joan Oró Year. The inauguration will take place at the conference hall of the Faculty of Science and Biosciences and is entitled “Joan Oró i la UAB. La visió de dos col·laboradors”. The event will include speeches by Claudi Cuchillo, emeritus professor in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the UAB, and by Emili Gelpi, CSIC research lecturer at the University of Houston. Institutional speeches will also be given by UAB Rector Javier Lafuente and Faculty Dean Isidre Gibert.
