Professor Joan Deus to inaugurate the UAB's 2023/24 academic year

Joan Deus, professor in the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology at the UAB, will give the inaugural lecture of the 2023/24 academic year in an institutional event which will take place on 28 September at 12:30 p.m. at the conference hall of the Rectorat building. Professor Deus is the Care Coordinator of the Psychology and Speech Therapy Unit of the UAB Faculty of Psychology. The inauguration and Professor Deus' speech held in the same week as the UAB celebrates the "Trio la Vida" Week will mark the beginning of an academic year dedicated to mental health. The event will include speeches by UAB Rector Javier Lafuente; Catalan Minister for Research and Universities Joaquim Nadal; and Cerdanyola del Vallès Mayor Carlos Cordón. The event will also be streamed live on the UAB's YouTube channel.
