Conference: The Last Harvest. Transformation and continuity of rural Barcelona

The periodicals library of the UAB Faculty of Arts & Humanities will offer a session on rural Barcelona entitled L’última collita. Transformacions i pervivències de la Barcelona rural. Núria Font, geographer and lecturer of the Department of Geography of the University of Girona, will present her research, conducted for the exhibition commissioned to her by the Municipal Archives of Barcelona. 

This session is part of the “Les ruralitats del Campus de la UAB” conference series, programmed as part of the Seminar on Advanced Anthropological Theories and Research which is organised by the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology. The programme aims to discover and give importance to the rural past of the UAB campus and see how it continues to survive in today's world. The conference will take place on 19 March at 9:00 a.m.

The conference series will be running from February to April in the Periodicals Room of the Humanities Library. All conference are free and open to the general public.
