Presentation of Lars Svensson's guide for bird banders

After the fourth edition (1992), this new fifth edition of Lars Svensson's renowned guide to the identification of European passerines, updated and with much more information, is huge news for bird banders.

A presentation will be made with the participation of José Luis Copete, from the UAB Science and Technology Library and specialist in identifying passerines, as well as co-author with Lars Svensson of several works; Arantza Leal, organiser of the presentation from SEO/BirdLife in Madrid; Eulalia Moreno, who translated the previous edition; and Alfonso Villarán, director of the Centre for Bird Migration.

The online conference will take place on 31 March at 5:00 p.m. and will be projected on the big screen of the Science and Technology Library as part of the series of activities held by La Tarima.
