School Day of Non-Violence and Peace

On 29 January the UAB School for a Culture of Peace will be holding an activity for pupils aged 10 to 13 from four different school centres in commemoration of School Day of Non-Violence and Peace. The activity will take place at Plaça Sant Jaume and in the Barcelona City Hall from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and forms part of a peace education project in which pupils and teachers perform a diagnosis of acts of violence in their schools with the aim of transforming these acts into actions for peace. The activity will include the participation of Barcelona's mayor, Jaume Collboni.
