First conference on feminist translation

On 12 December at 6 p.m. at the Barcelona LGTBI Centre, a round table discussion on gender, feminism and disability will be held with critic Bob Pop, researcher of the Department of Social Psychology of the UAB Laura Sanmiquel, translator Javier Sáez, and a representative of the publishing house Kaótica Libros. This conversation is part of the series "La paraula en disputa", which will include four sessions on the translation of feminist texts focused on issues such as disability, ethical-racial diversity, and sexual and gender dissidence. It is an initiative of researchers Lupe Romero, Gonzalo Iturregui-Gallardo and Olga Castro of the Seminar on Intersectionality, Feminisms and Translation of the UAB Faculty of Translation and Interpretation, with the support of the FAS and the Barcelona LGTBI Centre.
