Presentation of the winners of this year's Literary Awards

The winning books published in the Literary Awards 2024 edition, organised each year by the Cerdanyola del Vallès City Council and the UAB, will be presented in Cerdanyola del Vallès on 7 November.

This year's winners were announced in May, in an awards ceremony held at the UAB. Carla Clúa Alcón was the winner of the 15th "Catarina Albert" Award in the Youth Short Story category for her Pausa, sucre, Sevilla. Josep Antoni Aguilar Àvila, with his Ballar amb els espectres, and Josep Domènech Ponsatí, with his Eixint de fer, were both declared winners of the 29th "Miquel Martí i Pol" Award in the Poetry category. Finally, Miquel Ribas Figueras received the 30th "Valldaura-Memorial Pere Calders" Award for his novel Ilha do Farol. 

The event will be attended by representatives of the Cerdanyola del Vallès City Council; the UAB Vice-Rector for Innovation and Strategic Projects Rosa María Sebastián; and the authors of the literary works.

The event will include the presentation of the call details of the Literary Awards 2025 edition.
