Faculty of Education to inaugurate academic year with a focus on Palestine

Hesham Abu-Sharar, lecturer in the Department of Translation and Interpreting & East Asian Studies; Montse Tafalla, member of the Institute of Human Rights of Catalonia (IDHC); and Shurouq Alimam, student of the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting, will give the inaugural lecture of the Faculty of Education. The lecture, focusing on Palestine and the violation of children's rights, is entitled "La qüestió palestina i la vulneració dels drets dels infants i del dret a l'educació actualment". It will take place on 28 October at 12:30 p.m. at the Faculty of Education's Rooms 51-52. Maite Carrassón, vice-rector for Academic Staff at the UAB; and Marta Bertran, dean of the Faculty of Education, will also speak at the inauguration.
