Scientific Journals Day at the UAB 2024

As part of International Open Access Week, which will be held from 21 to 27 October, the UAB is organising the Scientific Journals Day on 23 October from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Journals Hall of the Humanities Library (Faculty of Arts & Humanities), and will be open to people involved in the publication of journals at the university. With the slogan “Community over commercialisation”, the event seeks to raise awareness of the importance of community control in the exchange of academic knowledge, promoting free and immediate access to research results. This meeting will allow the editorial teams of UAB journals to share experiences and discuss challenges in open access scholarly publishing. Registrations can be made until October 14 through a registration form.
