Academic year inauguration and diploma ceremony of the School of Archival and Records Management

Clara I. Velasco Rico, Vice President of the Commission for the Guarantee of the Right of Access to Public Information of the Government of Catalonia and lecturer in administrative law at the UPF, will deliver a lecture entitled “Caixes negres administratives o la lluita per la transparència dels algorismes de la IA al sector públic" [Administrative black boxes or the struggle for transparency of AI algorithms in the public sector]. The lecture will take place at the opening ceremony of the 2024/25 academic year of the UAB School of Archival and Records Management on 9 October at 6:00 p.m. in the Lluís Vives Hall of the Hotel Exe Campus UAB. 

The event will also serve to deliver the diplomas of graduates from the official Master's Degree in Archival and Records Management and from the Graduate Diploma in Electronic Records Management; as well as to announce the winner of the award for the best Master Thesis 2024, an annual award promoted by the UAB Department of Archival and Records Management and the Association of Archivists and Records Managers of Catalonia.
