Event details

The UAB Research Ethics Committee (CERec)—previously known as the Ethics Committee on Animal and Human Experimentation (CEEAH)—was founded in 1994 as a pioneer initiative in Spain with the aim of guaranteeing rigour, honesty and responsibility in the research carried out at the UAB. The centre now celebrates its 30th anniversary with a two-day commemorative event.

The first day will be a space for reflection and debate on issues of great current relevance in the field of ethics, big data in health, and artificial intelligence, with conferences offered by renowned local and international speakers.

The second day will be more institutional and open to the general public. Those interested can sign up here.

Deadline for registrations is 13 September.
