The UAB to take part in the largest higher education event held in Europe
From 13 to 16 September, Barcelona will play host to the 32nd Conference of the European Association for International Education (AEIE), the largest international education event in Europe. The UAB will take part in the event and welcome visitors to its Bellaterra campus on 13 September.

The conference is entitled “The Future in Full Colour” and will bring together university members from around the world to share innovative ideas and practices related to the internationalisation of higher education. There will be various sessions focusing on all types of issues related to internationalisation, as well as a universities and entities’ fair where visitors can discover all the services involved in the different sectors of international education.
Conference attendees visiting the UAB campus will be able to visit a number of places, such as the UAB Open Labs, the facilities of the Institute for Environmental Science and Technology, and the university’s innovative teaching labs. On 15 September, the UAB Casa Convalescència will also play host to another event activity, the UAB Partner's Day, in which representatives of UAB-affiliated institutes will come together to share ideas and professional practices.
In this 32nd edition, Barcelona will finally have the chance to host the event, which was programmed for the year 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic had to be held online for the past two editions. This year’s meeting will therefore be on-site, with the possibility of attending online for those who wish to do so.
