The Department of Translation and Interpreting offers a doctoral programme in Translation and Intercultural Studies leading to a PhD by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. This degree has been fully adapted to the requirements of the European Higher Education Area qualifications framework.

Research Summer School

During the last week of June each year, the Department of Translation and Interpreting organises a Research Summer School. The aim of the School is to promote quality research amongst young researchers, and to provide a forum within which students and lecturers can share common interests and experiences
