Symposium: “Gender and translation of Japanese literature: from the 19th to the 21st centuries. Commemoration of the 150th anniversary of Ichiyô Higuchi's birth"
The Faculty of Translation and Interpretation and the General Council of Japan in Barcelona co-organize this conference in which the specialists Akemi Saito (Komazawa University), Mercè Altimir Losada (UAB) and Alba Serra Vilella (UAB) will address the six respective papers. the final round table various aspects in relation to japanese literature and translation from a gender perspective. The conference includes the collaboration of the GETCC and GREGAL research groups of the DTIEAO, will be transferred to the Faculty of Translation and Interpretation and will be broadcast online.
