UAB SL Day

The 5th SL Day (2023-2024 academic year) took place on-site on Thursday 25 April, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting at the UAB, with prior registration.

The following is the programme for this edition, which included three different activities:

• Opening roundtable (9-11 a.m.) entitled “How does the sustainability of the relationships between teaching staff and the organisations affect the quality of SL projects?”, in which organisation members and UAB teaching staff with experience in SL projects discussed the keys to understanding the importance of consolidating these relationships. The awards for the best TFGs with SL from the previous academic year were also handed out.
• SL project co-creation session (11:15 a.m.-12:45 p.m.), in which organisations and teaching staff, grouped by topics such as health or environmental sustainability, worked together to conceive and define possible SL projects, among other aspects. This provided the ideal opportunity to share knowledge and broaden contacts between organisations and teaching staff.
• Organisation fair (1-3 p.m.) for the public in the form of an outdoor exhibition. This year, tickets were requirements for the refreshments, which were given out by the organisations present at the fair after talking with the attendees.

The 4th SL Day at the UAB took place on Friday 5 May 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Faculty of Communication Studies.

The 3rd SL Day at the UAB took place on Wednesday 4 May 2022 in the faculties of Science and Biosciences on the Bellaterra Campus. Take a look at the poster announcing the various talks and activities organised as part of the event.

The 2nd SL Day took place on 15 June 2021.

This poster corresponds to the 1st SL Day, which was held at the UAB on Tuesday 14 May 2019. 

In the 2019-2020 academic year, the SL Day that was scheduled to take place in the spring was cancelled as a result of the health emergency.
