Regulation

On January 25, 2001, the Governing Council approved the Regulations of the Animal and Human Experimentation Ethics Committee (CEEAH) at the UAB, and later modifications were introduced: on September 27, 2006, March 23, 2017, and March 11, 2020, and in this last modification, the Data Protection Officer for the UAB was added as a new member. 

This latest regulation was approved by the Governing Council, on September 29, 2022, when the Animal and Human Experimentation Ethics Committee (CEEAH) was replaced by the current Research Ethics Committee (CERec).
