Project presentation and evaluation
In order for the CERec to evaluate experimental projects, researchers must present them through the application, which can be found on the UAB intranet, and which is designed to present projects for both animal experimentation and experimental human research.
The software is hosted on the Campus under the security measures determined by the IT service.
Project presentation
The process of presenting projects for evaluation, is described in the following instructions, which explain how to gain access to the management application and the procedure for presenting documentation.
Once the advisor considers that a project is correct, it will be evaluated by the Committee at the monthly meeting of the CERec, in accordance with each deadline.
Finally, if the project is given the green light, the CERec will issue a report for the researcher.
The CERec advises on the ethical aspects of research to all investigators who present a research project for its evaluation or for those who expressly request it.
According to the chosen area of ¿¿knowledge in a human research project or the installation of an animal experimentation project, the application will automatically assign an advisor for the prior review and advice of the project presented by the researcher.
