New UAB Research Ethics Committee (CERec) Application
Due to updated cybersecurity requirements, the current Research Ethics Committee (CERec) application has become obsolete. Therefore, with the collaboration of the IT Service, a new institutional version has been launched, offering the same functionalities as the previous system, with enhanced security.
The UAB Research Ethics Committee (CERec) is celebrating its thirtieth anniversary
The UAB has organized an event to commemorate the thirty years of the UAB Research Ethics Committee (CERec) - formerly the Ethics Committee on Animal and Human Experimentation (CEEAH) - with the participation of prominent specialist speakers in topics such as big data and health and the application of artificial intelligence in various fields. The event will take place on the 19th and 20th of September in the Rectorate's Auditorium and is open to everyone. The deadline to sign up is September 13.

To renew the recognised training of staff members working with experimental animals for one or more functions, in accordance with Ministerial Order ECC/566/2015, of 20 March, continuous training must be accredited every eight years from the date of approval of the said Ministerial Order.
