Human research
The different regulations and calls for research projects require that research involving human experimentation, the use of biological samples of human origin and/or the collection of personal data must be authorised by the Ethics Committee in the institution where the research will be carried out.
The CERec therefore advises research staff in order to achieve the required ethical standards, which are based on the principles of charity, respect for the autonomy of individuals when providing their consent to participate in research, and justice, principles established in the Belmont Report, the Nuremberg Code, the Declaration of Helsinki and also included in Law 14/2007, of July 3, on Biomedical research, etc.
