The "Human Laboratory" research group of the INc, in collaboration with Dr. Albert Quintana, has received funding from the Alicia Koplowitz Foundation's "Ayudas a proyectos de Investigación 2023" call. The project is led by Dra. Roser Nadal, professor in our Department.

The "Human Laboratory" group is coordinated by the Dres. Beatriz Molinuevo and Roser Nadal, and they also include Drs. Albert Bonillo, Silvia Fuentes, Eva Penelo - also members of the Department of Psychobiology and Methodology of Health Sciences - and by Anastasiya Ivanova, from the Department of Psychiatry and Legal Medicine. The doctoral students of the group are made up of Bernat Soley, David Quevedo, Sebastián Fernández and Ximena Mogollón.

The Alicia Koplowitz Foundation has been committed to Child and Adolescent Mental Health since 2005. The study is focused on individual differences in the response to stress and evaluates different biomarkers and parameters of early adversity, with the ultimate goal of 'deepen the risk and protection factors to develop trajectories of disruptive and prosocial behaviour. The "Laboratori Humà" research group has received funding from the Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación, and from the Fundació La Marató de TV3, and it is hoped that the results of its various ongoing projects will contribute to improving the socio-emotional well-being of children in the stage of primary education.
