The department

The Department of Psychobiology and Methodology of Health Sciences, created in 1995, is the basic structure in charge of structuring and developing the teaching and research of the two units that comprise it: Psychobiology and Methodology of Behavioral Sciences.

In the field of teaching, it coordinates the teachings of the two areas of knowledge in various faculties and schools, in accordance with the teaching program of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), and organizes and develops doctoral programs and studies and postgraduate.

As a basic research unit, it promotes and supports the research and knowledge transfer activities and initiatives of its academic staff.
