23rd edition of Physics Saturdays 2023
From February 4 and for 5 Saturdays, the Faculty of Sciences will host the 23rd Physics Saturdays. An initiative of the Department of Physics whose main objective is to bring physics and science closer to young pre-university students and motivate them to learn about the world around us in a rigorous and, at the same time, understandable way.
The Saturdays of Physics are presented, once again, in a format that has proven to be encouraging: a daily conference followed by a series of experimental demonstrations, visits to different laboratories and/or viewing informative videos about physics. The "Saturdays" are mainly aimed at high school students who have an interest in scientific subjects, especially physics. Teachers are also welcome.
This year we will cover different topics that include a large part of the scientific subject matter covered by Physics. These topics will be presented during five conferences that will correspond to five axes. The axis of temperature, complexity, transversality, applicability and size.
You can find more information and register online on the Department of Physics website.
Registration is free and is limited to the capacity of the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Sciences.
Registration process open.
