Xavier Úcar Science Fiction Collection

This collection encompasses all the science fiction works that have brought me joy, sparked my curiosity, and encouraged reflection and learning. These are books I have personally experienced and cherished throughout my life, which is why I wanted to share them with anyone interested in such stimulating and inspiring literature.

The collection consists of various sub-collections. Here, you will find classic titles from publishers like Acerbo, Ultramar, Bruguera, Orbis, and Martínez Roca, alongside more contemporary ones such as Ediciones B and La Factoría de las Ideas. Over the years, I have followed numerous authors. Among the classics in the collection are Frank Herbert, Arthur C. Clarke, Isaac Asimov, Philip K. Dick, Robert A. Heinlein, Clifford D. Simak, Roger Zelazny, Ray Bradbury, Robert Silverberg, and Orson Scott Card. More recent authors I’ve been enjoying include Alastair Reynolds, Peter F. Hamilton, China Miéville, and Iain M. Banks. While the majority of the books are science fiction, you will also find works of fantasy, ranging from classics like A Planet Called Treason and Hart's Hope by Orson Scott Card to contemporary authors such as Brandon Sanderson and George R.R. Martin.

Cherryh, and the Hyperion saga by Dan Simmons. This is a living collection that expands year by year with the new titles I read.
