Wormwood Review Collection
The Wormwood Review, edited by Marvin Malone, was a key player in 1960s American literature. It showcased some of the finest poetry of the era, featuring authors like James Wright, E. E. Cummings, and James Dickey, as well as countercultural writers such as William Burroughs and Charles Bukowski.
The Wormwood Review exemplifies how a small literary magazine can sustain regular publication for nearly four decades. Its digitisation and preservation in the Digital Document Repository (DDD) at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona provide the university community with access to this unique literary resource. This project was made possible by a grant from the Agency for Management of University and Research Grants (AGAUR) and the 7th Framework Programme, under the guidance of Professor Abel Debritto from the Department of English and German Studies.
