About the library

The Veterinary Library is a teaching and research support service that is attached to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the UAB and supports the degrees in Veterinary Medicine and Food Science and Technology taught at the UAB.
It supports the Departments of Animal Health and Anatomy, Animal and Food Science, Animal Medicine and Surgery and the interfaculty units that provide teaching at the Faculty.
As well as the Farm and Experimental Field Service.

As a public library, it is the only one in Catalonia within its specialty, which is why it constitutes an important tool open to researchers and professionals in the veterinary, agricultural and food industry sectors.
