This collection aims to support the study and research of veterinary history in the Catalan and Spanish regions. It consists of a variety of documentary types (monographs, brochures, images, manuscripts, etc.) spanning from the 17th century to the first half of the 20th century.

Notable works include those by prominent Catalan authors such as Francesc Darder Llimona, Francesc Sugrañes Bardají, Joan Romagosa Vila, Josep Vidal i Munné, Pere M. Rossell i Vila, Pedro Farreras, and Salvador Castelló Carreras, among others. The collection is regarded as one of the most important in Spain in its field.

Collection description: This specialised collection focuses on veterinary medicine, animal husbandry, medicine, agriculture, and other related sciences.
