The Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives houses an extensive collection of newspapers and magazines focused on general information and public communication. In addition to nearly 11,000 titles in print, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, and microform formats, the Library also provides access to thousands of electronic titles through database subscriptions.

Digital press
Through the El Quiosc portal, users can access the digital press and newspaper databases subscribed to by the UAB, as well as a variety of useful resources, including media directories, news search engines, and repositories of digitised historical newspapers, among others.
