New transformative agreements for 2025
The UAB has new agreements with the American Society for Microbiology, De Gruyter and John Benjamins, and the renewal of the agreements with SpringerNature, Wiley and the American Chemical Society has been approved.

The UAB has 3 new transformative agreements with the publishers:American Society for Microbiology, De Gruyter and John Benjamins. In all 3 cases the number of APCs available is unlimited.
Additionally, the renewal of the agreements with SpringerNature, Wiley and the American Chemical Society (that expired on December 31) has been approved. In the upcoming weeks we will update the information about these publishers, including backpublishing options starting January 1, 2025, if applicable.
The renewal with Elsevier is still in the negotiation phase.
