The DDD, a trusted repository for scientific literature

The report "Update of the Study on the Readiness of Research Data and Literature Repositories to Facilitate Compliance with the Open Science Horizon Europe MGA Requirements," resulting from a study commissioned by the Executive Agency of the European Research Council at the request of the ERC Scientific Council, has updated the list of trusted research data and literature repositories.

This study (an update to the report published at the beginning of 2023) was carried out by independent experts and distinguishes between data repositories and scientific literature repositories. It offers valuable information for researchers receiving European funding (such as ERC grants and other Horizon Europe calls), as it helps them select repositories that comply with the European Union's Open Science requirements.

Out of the 241 repositories analysed, the DDD, UAB's Digital Document Repository, is listed as one of 186 accredited trusted scientific literature repositories. This recognition reinforces the role of the DDD as UAB's platform in supporting researchers in meeting European and national Open Science mandates.

The report also highlights the inclusion of CORA.RDR as a trusted data repository. CORA.RDR is a federated, multidisciplinary data repository that allows Catalan universities, CERCA research centres, and other research entities to publish research datasets in a FAIR format and in line with EOSC guidelines.
