50 Years of Mecanoscrit del segon origen is an exhibition curated by the Humanities Library to honour this iconic work. Taking advantage of this milestone, the exhibition brings together a selection of science fiction novels by various authors, offering a broad perspective on the genre through the contributions of prominent figures in Catalan literature.

Visitors will find works by classic authors such as Joaquim Carbó, Pere Calders, Avel·lí Artís Gener, and Maria Aurèlia Capmany, alongside contemporary writers like Bel Olid, Francesc Miralles, and Albert Sánchez Piñol.

Located in the display cases on the ground floor of the Humanities Library, the exhibition will be open until January 2025. This initiative offers readers and visitors a unique opportunity to discover or rediscover the novels that have shaped the science fiction literary scene in Catalonia.
