Martí Gelabertó's Collection of Antique Maps

The Martí Gelabertó collection of antique maps was created following the donation by historian Mr. Martí Gelabertó of his personal collection, primarily consisting of maps from the 17th and 18th centuries, to the Map Library.

Collection description: 181 engravings (including general maps, city plans, and views) of Catalonia, Spain, and occasionally other parts of the world. Some are hand-coloured.

Collection range date: 16th – 19th century

Collection incorporation date:  The donation was signed in July 2015.
