Collection of books, magazines, and thematic dossiers on cinema gathered by Joaquim Romaguera

Joaquim Romaguera i Ramió (Barcelona, 1941–2006) was a historian, writer, film critic, and researcher. He was widely recognised as a pioneer in the study of cinema in Catalonia and Spain, contributing through both monographs and historiographical studies.

In 2008, Joaquim Romaguera i Ramió's cinema collection was donated to the UAB by his wife, Roser Vendrell, and their sons.

Collection description: The collection comprises 2,902 books on cinema, with a particular focus on Spanish and Catalan films, alongside international, national, and local magazines. It also includes 295 boxes containing dossiers on various topics, such as film festivals, the centenary of cinema, Latin American cinema, and more.
