History of Computer Science collection

Section of the Library of Science and Technology dedicated to the study of the history of computer science. This emerging collection aims to serve as a resource for researching the history of the field. The working group consists of library staff, Computer Science Services, and the Department of Computer Sciences. The Centre for the Study of the History of Sciences is responsible for defining the content, which is arranged into four specific subject areas:

1. Precedents of Computer Science: The decades from 1950 to 1970.
2. Integration of Computers in Business.
3. Introduction and Spread of Microcomputers: The decades following 1980.
4. Computer Culture.
