Literary Exile Study Group Collection

The Study Group on Literary Exile (GEXEL), affiliated with the Department of Spanish Philology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, has as its primary mission the comprehensive reconstruction of the historical, cultural, and literary memory of the Spanish exile of 1939. 

Through the collection of bibliographic material and in-depth analysis of texts, GEXEL seeks to rescue the literary works of exiles and expand the understanding of the phenomenon of exile, contributing to the preservation and dissemination of the cultural legacy of this historical period.
