Annual Business Reports Collection

Collection description:

The collection of annual reports comprises approximately 1,000 periodical publications that summarise the main data of an entity's internal activities throughout the corresponding year.

This collection was initiated in 1980 with the aim of preserving the internal documentation of the companies that donated their reports to us, which they only retained while they existed. It also includes annual sustainability reports, corporate social responsibility reports, environmental reports, and other related documents.

Initially, the collection consisted entirely of paper documents, but electronic media -particularly CD-ROMs in PDF format (Adobe Acrobat)- were later incorporated. Currently, the collection has been established through the online publication of these documents at the UAB Digital Repository of Documents (DDD).

Types of Documents:

Based on the entity that prepares and publishes the report, we can categorise the documents into three types:

1. Annual reports of Spanish and international companies
2. Annual reports of Spanish and international banking entities (banks and savings banks)
3. Annual reports of Spanish chambers of commerce
