Bernard Lesfargues Collection

Bernard Lesfargues (1924-2018), born in Bergerac, Dordogne, was a writer, editor, and translator renowned for his substantial literary contributions in the Occitan language. He translated a wide range of literary works from Spanish, Catalan, and Occitan into French, as well as from Galician and Spanish into Occitan. He collaborated with numerous French and Occitan publications.

Collection description: The collection comprises part of his personal and professional documentation, particularly highlighting correspondence and works by others. Additionally, it includes a selection from his personal library.
