Antoni Reguant Collection

Antoni Reguant was born in Sabadell in 1942. He is an industrial engineer, having graduated from the Barcelona School of Industrial Engineering, and he earned his degree in Computer Science as part of the first graduating class at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He also studied mercantile studies and expertise at the Sabadell School of Commerce. Throughout his career, he has worked in the corporate world, dedicating his later professional years to advising and organising companies.

However, his greatest passion—and the most significant challenge of his life—has been collecting books, primarily on mathematics, but also covering physics, chemistry, and science applied to engineering.

This unique collector donated a substantial part of his personal library to the UAB, consisting of 3,353 monographs and nine journal titles.
