Dr. Waldo Nogueira Takes Part in the 'España ATRAE' Meeting
The event brought together 40 renowned researchers to advance science in Spain and foster collaborations.

Dr. Waldo Nogueira recently took part in the event 'España ATRAE: un mejor país para la ciencia', held at the Residencia de Estudiantes in Madrid. This gathering brought together 40 of the 58 internationally renowned researchers who have joined the Spanish scientific system through the ATRAE program in its first two calls, in 2023 and 2024.
Dr. Nogueira, formerly a professor at Hannover Medical School, joined the UAB and the Institut in 2024 as part of an ATRAE project. His research focuses on developing a prototype device that stimulates the auditory system both acoustically and electrically to improve hearing in patients with hearing loss.
The event, which was attended by the Minister of Science, Innovation, and Universities, Diana Morant, aimed to foster collaboration and highlight the impact of the research projects being carried out in various institutions and regions across Spain under this program.
