Brain Awareness Week
This week, from March 10th to 16th, marks Brain Awareness Week, a global initiative aimed at sharing knowledge about this fascinating organ and the ongoing research to unravel its mysteries.

To celebrate, our Institute has organized a variety of activities:
-
Cervella't, an online lecture series about the brain, co-organized with the CORE in Mental Health at UAB. In these sessions, researchers share their work with the general public.
-
Participation in Escolab, an initiative by the Barcelona City Council. As part of this program, we welcomed 2nd-year high school students from Escola IPSE, offering them an inside look at our technical laboratories, where our technicians showed the instruments and techniques used in research.
-
A talk at Escola Els 30 Passos, led by researchers from HumanLab. They introduced 5th-grade students to the different parts of the brain and how they function.
A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible!
