Sixteen female researchers from the Institute in the "Ranking of Spanish Women Researchers" (CSIC)
Sixteen female researchers from the Institute have been recognized in the recent "Ranking of Spanish Women Researchers" published this February.

This ranking, prepared by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), highlights the 10.000 female scientists with the best metric indicators, such as the h index and the number of citations, according to their profiles on Google Scholar.
The main objective of this classification is to give visibility to the work of women in research, using free and public access platforms. In addition, it seeks to promote the use of personal ORCID identifiers and institutional RoR, essential for the interconnection of various sources in the construction of Open Science.
The researchers currently active at the INc-UAB who appear on the list are Drs. Esther Dalfó, Lydia Giménez-Llort, Berta González, Gemma Guillazo, Gemma Manich, Roser Masgrau, Beatriz Molinuevo, Roser Nadal, Olga Pol, Isabel Portell, Elisenda Sanz, Montse Sole and Esther Udina. Also on the list are Dr. Josefa Sabrià, a retired professor, and Drs. Caty Casas and Elena Galea, who left us in 2020 and 2023, respectively.
The inclusion of these women from the Institut reflects the institution's commitment and excellence in the scientific field, contributing significantly to the advancement of knowledge and gender equality in science.
