A new edition of the BIYSC ends
Once again, the labs coordinated by Drs. Raül Andero and Lydia Giménez-Llort received an international group of high-school students participating in the BIYSC program, organized by the La Pedrera Foundation.
This is the fourth year that the Institute participated in the Barcelona International Youth Challenge, an initiative of the La Pedrera Foundation that brings boys and girls from all over the world to carry out a research project in a lab in Catalonia.
Throughout several practical and theoretical classes, the 14 participants were investigating how fear memory works, with the help of researchers from the Translational mechanisms of fear memory and Translational behavioral neuroscience research groups.
We can't wait to participate again next year!
