Publications

Documents d’Anàlisi Geogràfica is an open-access academic journal aimed at scholars and professionals who have an interest on the interactions between nature, society, politics, economy and culture that take place in space at different scales, and to which geography provides analysis or responses.

Edited jointly by the Department of Geography of the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona and the Department of Geography of the Universitat de Girona, Documents d’Anàlisi Geogràfica is published quarterly, in February, June and October.

The Newsletter of the Department of Geography, which is published every two months allows the dissemination of the activity of the Department, including the most relevant news, seminars, conferences, publications, thesis readings, teaching activities and the presence in the media of communication.

The Research Newsletter of the Department of Geography begins in April 2025 as an additional means of dissemination and transfer of the research conducted in the Department. It is conceived as a collection of monographs without a fixed periodicity, which may cover ongoing projects, project results, activities of research groups, and seminars, conferences, or cycles organized by the Department.
