This year marks the 30th anniversary of MiraMon GIS, a pioneering software in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) management and remote sensing.

On Tuesday, October 15, the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities held the opening ceremony for the 2024/25 academic year with a dialogue between Helena Cruz and Oriol Nel·lo on the topic "Territorial Planning: A Tool for Environmental Sustainability and Social Justice."

On October 5, during the opening ceremony of the 2023/24 academic year, Oriol Nel·lo received the V Award for Teaching Excellence from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities

The Final Degree Project of Pablo Marid Arancibia (student of the Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Environmental Management and Spatial Planning) has been awarded in the 6th edition of the Arcadi Oliveres Award for Final Degree Projects on Transformation for Global Justice of the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

Last March 20, the competition for the position of Professor of Human Geography was held, which  Abel Albet Mas won.

On December 20, 2022 at 11:30h the Sala de graus of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities will host the tribute ceremony to the scientist Guillem Vich Callejo, who left us last November 10.

The Final Degree Projects of Clara Cirera (student of the Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Environmental Management and Spatial Planning) and Elisabet Geli, (student of the Bachelor's Degree in Geography and Territorial Planning), have been awarded, congratulations to both of them!
