Successful turnout at the Closing Ceremony of the Naturalized Urban Rivers Exhibition
El martes 2 de octubre tuvo lugar el Acto de Clausura con Visita Guiada de la Exposición Ríos Urbanos Naturalizados: De la investigación en diferentes casos de estudio a la biodiversidad fluvial.
The exhibition, located in the Journals Room of the Humanities Library (UAB) throughout the month of September, is part of the project: “Renaturalized Urban Rivers. From research in different case studies to river biodiversity” ,funded by the institution: Science and Technology for Development (CYTED) and has been jointly prepared by the Department of Geography, the Ibero-American network RUN (https://run.ulusofona.pt/es/presentacion/), the RIVUS Foundation (https://fundaciorivus.cat/), and the UAB Library Service.
The Closing Ceremony, along with the Guided Tour of the Exhibition, featured the participation of Dr. Àngel Cebollada, Director of the Department of Geography, Dr. Sònia Sanchez Mateo, Director of the RIVUS Foundation, Dr. Montserrat Pallarès, and Dr. Ana Vera. Among the invited audience were students from the course "Local and Territorial Development" of the Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Environment, and Territorial Planning.
