Joan-Cristian Padró from the GRUMETS Research Group in the Department of Geography has been awarded third place in the "Best Paper Awards (2022)" by the journal "Land."
The paper Drone-Based Identification of Erosive Processes in Open-Pit Mining Restored Areas has been selected as the third best paper published in the journal in 2022. It is based on the TFM of Johnsson Cardozo, a student from the 2021-2022 cohort of the Master's in Remote Sensing and GIS, and it involved the participation of Vicenç Carabassa, Pau Montero, Josep-Maria Alcañiz, Roger Ruiz-Carulla, and Dèlia Serra.
