The SGR Urban Mobility group of ICTA-UAB organizes an open seminar on cycling research topics, featuring various members from the Department of Geography.

10:00-10:15 Welcome and introduction.

10:15-10:30 Gemma Simón (ICTA-UAB): "Now I am the one with the bike": Transmission of cycling practices at the community level.

10:30-10:45 David Andrés (Institut Metròpoli): Everyday cycling in the metropolis of Barcelona: a perspective from women’s viewpoints.

10:45-11:00 Jerònia Cubells (Geography UAB): ‘Oh, a trans woman on a bike!’: Queer(ing) cycling in Barcelona.

11:15-11:30 Peio Royo (ETSAB, UPC): Véloterritories. Shaping European cycling landscapes.

11:30-11:45 Oriol Roig (Geography UAB): Beyond the ride: A longitudinal study on external factors influencing the docked bike-sharing experience.

11:45-12:00 Dr. Paolo Chevalier (Institut Metròpoli): Studying bicycle use in the province of Barcelona with the EMEF. Possibilities and limitations.
