Event details

A meeting on "Critical Perspectives in Geography" will take place on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. The organization of the meeting is an initiative of Antonio Bontempi, Javiera Fernandez and Benjamin Irvine (Predoctoral Researchers of the Department of Geography).

The objective of this meeting will be to get to know each other and evaluate the possibility of opening a space for future discussions and/or collaborations.

By "critical perspectives" we refer (although we do not limit ourselves) to:

  • Intersections between geography and political sciences (political ecology, political economy...).
  • Studies of gender, class and ethnicity in relation to space/environment.
  • Environmental justice and socio-environmental conflicts.
  • Critical or subaltern cartographies.
  • Academic activity

Anyone who, from the geography department, is working or is interested in the critical perspectives of geography. If you are interested, please confirm your participation at the following link: https://forms.gle/sMncvMengNw5BYpp7
