iFest Bootcamp

This 35-hour training program is part of the iFest program of the Government of Catalonia. Degree students at UAB who complete it can earn 2 ECTS credits.

It consists of an online training platform with seven modules and synchronous activities based on the design thinking methodology, integrating key competencies: entrepreneurial, digital, personal, social, and learning-to-learn skills. The educational content is structured into modules with short video-based training sessions:

• Module 1: Empathy

• Modules 2 & 3: Definition and Ideation

• Modules 4 & 5: Prototyping and Testing

• Module 6: Lean Canvas

• Module 7: Communication

The cornerstone of iFest is addressing social and environmental challenges through the design thinking methodology. The program includes the following activities:

• iFest Bootcamp: A foundational training focused on challenge-solving.

• iFest Competition: A competition where the best solutions are selected.

• iFest Acceleration: A pre-acceleration phase for the winning projects, including mentoring, personalized talks, visits to startups and ecosystem organizations, and support for market testing of the solution.
