Seminars by Professor Jolanta Sinkuniene in April
From April 11th to April 14th, Dr. Jolanta Sinkuniene will be giving a series of seminars for MA students in the field of Applied Linguistics at the English Department (Faculty of Arts and Humanities), as part of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Exchange programme.
Dr. Jolanta Sinkuniene is a member of the Committee of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Research Council of Lithuania, an Associate Professor at Vilnius University, Faculty of Philology, the Institute of English, Romance and Classical Studies and the Head of the Department of English Philology. Dr.Sinkuniene also represents Lithuania in Cluster 2 (Culture, Creativity and Inclusive society) of Horizon Europe, the EU key funding programme for research and innovation. Her research interests include: Semantics, Pragmatics, Discourse analysis, Corpus linguistics, Computational linguistics, Contrastive analysis, Modality, Evidentiality, Methodology of academic writing, EAP, ESP and Genre analysis. She will be conducting the following sessions:
