On 3 October, the event commemorating 10 years of industrial PhD programmes was held. In that event, the Impact Awards 2022 - a recognition of the impact that industrial doctorate projects have on society - were also presented.

The UAB was selected to carry out one of the 30 projects awarded funding by the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions – COFUND of the Horizon Europe programme, with a budget of almost five million euros. The project, which allows covering the salary of up to 24 pre-doctoral positions, includes the involvement of up to seven institutes from the UAB-CIE Sphere and the CORE Mental Health Network.

Starting this July, the Doctoral School has opened a new workspace available to all its doctoral student and designed together with the Graduate School.

Camille Noé Servin, student of the PhD programme in Psychiatry, was awarded the Joan Oró mention in the "Present Your Thesis in 4 Minutes" competition organised by the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation, worth 1,000 euros, on 22 June at the CaixaFòrum in Lleida.

The session "What can I do after my PhD?" will be held next Wednesday 21 June in the Doctoral School (Sala Carles de Perelló). This session is aimed at enlightening doctoral students in their last years about the next steps they can take to foster their careers.
